  • during the industrial revolution many people relied on steam engines, boats, and ships, to get them where they needed to be at. in 1807 Robert Fulton build the first commercial boat that used steam to travel upstream and traveled across rivers in countries.t he steam boats were also used to travel goods and they were a faster method. the steam boats were great because they weren't only faster but was able to deal with the Mississippi rivers currents and had the ability to go upstream, these things made it against time and expense.

  • these automobiles will help be get across not so distant places faster without getting on train and taking more time than i need to
  • in the early 1800s transportation also relied on animals and especially horses because there wasn't any other better way to travel other than on your bare feet. the horse pulling cart was invented where a horse pulled on a cart with either roof or no roof to get your across the country. some people also made a job where a skinny bony person could transport you things and they had to be skinny because they were lighter. traveling with the help was animals was difficult during the industrial revolution but not for long.

  • in 1830 railroads began to be constructed in the eastern part of the USA and by 1869 the first ever transcontinental railroad was finished in the USA. although railroads made the culture and country seem much smaller but before railroads it took months to travel across the USA. Also by the 1870s a person was able to travel from California to new York in just a few days. Now wherever a railroad could be built a train could travel on the land or a locomotive, same thing which made letters, goods, and packages way faster to be transported.

  • after time these have now revolutionized into planes that fly for longer distances. sweet!
  • the first automobile was created in 1886 by carl benz a german engine designer and automotive engineer and received a patent for creating the first motorcar in 1886. the motor car was also known as the Motorwagen and it had 3 wheels that's benz wasn't satisfied with the steering system although the car had a mileage of just 10km. ever since the automobile carl benz and his company have been introducing some goo petrol powered cars in 1886 but the motorcar was its best yet and famous too.
  • after steamboats, railroads/trains, and animal transportation people still needed a faster way to travel and because trains didn't have all of a sudden turns roads were useful. a new process started called macadam process and it was when the government created smooth gravel roads. these roads just revolutionized roads to dirt roads because people would ride bikes, cars, etc.
  • in the late period ofthe industrial revolution december 17 1903 the first plane was built by the wright brothers. the airplane cost the wright brothers about 1,000 to make although the wright brothers entirely financed it by themselves. the airplane was named the kitty hawk flyer and it only flew 6.8 miles per hour that's lasted 12 seconds before it started traveling at its high speed 120 feet which reached 6.8 miles per hour. the kitty hawk flyer was a very important invention because it helped create a entirely new world with the first tentative leaps into air.
