- When Alfredo goes on a home visit with Don Julian, Julia greets him at the door.
- Alfredo and Julia's interactions are what initially sparks the conflict. As time passes, their relationship becomes more intimate. Their proximity have progressed to the point where Alfredo anticipates seeing Juliathan being with Esperanza.
- When Alfredo happens to see Julia in the plaza. He was shocked to learn that Julia had discovered his engagement to Esperanza. She then congratulates Alfredo. Alfredo was befuddled by his own emotions.
