- Well racism and discrimination have actually been link to not only poor mental heath but physical heath as well, However its more likely to affect mental health than physical

- Unfair treatment and microaggressions at work, over-disciplining in schools prejudice and discrimination in day-to-day like can have serious affects on mental health

- Even the fear of racism can be just as bad a the actual act itself. - ...People of color are often overrepresented in neighborhoods with high poverty rates, where essential resources like quality schools, full service grocery stores, safe parks and transportation are often lacking. These inadequate pubic services only led to more crime and violence.
- Communities of color, especially those experiencing poverty suffer serious effect because of the crime and violence. Constant exposure creates toxic stress that harms physical and mental health, disrupts children’s development, and makes school and work environments unsafe
