  • The Meeting
  • The Letters
  • In this scene the soothsayer has met up with Caesar to warn him about the Ides of March. On this day, March 15th, the soothsayer claims that Caesar will die. Caesar does not believe this soothsayer at all and dismisses his warning. This is important to the story because it foreshadows future scenes in this play.
  • The Second Meeting
  • In this scene Cassius held a meeting with Casca and Brutus to try and kill Caesar. Cassius voiced his concerns of the future if Caesar took over in hopes of gaining followers. Brutus is not totally sold on Cassius's idea. This scene also foreshadows to future scenes in this play.
  • Decious's Plan
  • In this scene Cassius is throwing all of the letters he wrote into Brutus's house window. These letters were fake letters hyping up Brutus trying to get him to overthrow Caesar. This is an important scene in the story because it is the scene that Brutus switches to Cassius's side.
  • In this scene Cassius is holding another meeting with even more followers than last time. In this meeting Brutus announces that he is on board with the plan of taking out Caesar but does not want to kill Antony as well. This is an important scene because all of the Conspirators are together and planning Caesar's death.
  • In this scene Decious goes to Caesars house to convince him to come with him. Caesar tells Decious about the dream that Calpurnia had. Decious then twists this dream causing Caesar to change his mind and go to the Conspirators. This scene is important because it leads up to Caesar seeing the Conspirators.
