- I can't wait to go to school!!
- Just remember how lucky you are to get to go to school some other people have to travel far or even don't get education
- It's so unfair that I don't get to go to school just because I have different beliefs
- Middle Colonies...
- I know son, but there is really nothing I can do about it. I would if I could.

- It is unbelievable that I have to travel so far away from my family and friends just to go to school!!
- In the New England Colonies, they provided public schools to everyone and it was all inspired by religious faith.
- You guys need to do what I say right now!!!!!

- In the Middle Colonies, there was very little to no formal education, and religious differences among the population slowed the growth of public education because families disagreed about the content of lessons.
- I'm gonna get away with running away
- In the Southern Colonies, there was also little to no formal education therefore, older boys would be sent to schools in distant cities or even England.
- I'm not doing anything you tell me.
- Do as I say or else!!!
- Slaves coped in many different ways, some of them just went along with it and lived their life that way rather they wanted to or not.
- Some people decided to run away , though lots of them did get away if they got caught they would have many punishments such as: amputation of limbs, whippings, branding hobbling, and many other horrible acts.
- Some would even just rebel, they would do things like faking an illness, working slowly, producing bad work, and misplacing or damaging tools.
