Since we're on the way to the store, I think it's time to discuss the importance of MyPlate and healthy eating!It's very important for a growing boy like you to eat around 2 1/2 cups of fruits a day! For example, we can buy some yummy apples, oranges, and grapes when we get to the store.
I know vegetables aren't the yummiest foods in the world but they're very good for you! We need to make sure that you're eating 2 1/2 cups or even more of veggies corn, carrots, and celery a day.
*Boy (son)*Carrots aren't that bad...maybe we can get some ranch with them as well?
Of course! You can use dip for any of your fruits and veggies. As long as your eating them and staying healthy that's all that matters to me.
Grains are important for your daily diet, examples of grains include oatmeal,, popcorn, and brown rice!
PROTIEN! Protein is what keeps you full and strong. You need protien like fish, chicken and beef to grow into a strong boy.
Wow Mom...that all does sound yummy. Maybe we can even get chocolate milk!!!

Now that we're here, its time for the last part in your diet. Dairy, like milk for strong bones! Even a side of vanilla icecream is okay as its a dairy product, cottage cheese,or any cheese at all!
