- Percy was on a field trip with his friend Grover and his favorite teacher mister Brunner. Out of know where his pre-algebra teacher told him to go upstairs. After that Mrs. Dodds became a monster. his Latin teacher threw him a pen which was a sword.
- Percy stopped at the fruit stand Grover saw one of the ladies cut a string of a piece of yarn. After that, he asked Percy did he see one of the old ladies cutting yarn creepily.
