- Lizabeth says to Miss Lottie, "I cam here to apologizes."

- "I felt some kinda of way once I ruined your marigolds. When the kids gathered under the oak in our bare yard I started to feel ashamed of what I said to you and did to your plant."
- Miss Lottie says to Lizabeth, "LIzabeth this happen a long time ago and I understand that all of all were little and and were just playing around."
- Then Lizabeth continues ans says," when I realized what I did the child in me sulked and said it was fun but the woman in me flinched at what I just did, and am really sorry I hope you can forgive me I know those marigolds meant a lot to you."
- Miss Lottie says,"your apologize means a lot and yes Lizabeth I do forgive you it was just a childish act, but at least you realized what you did."
- Lizabeth says with joy,"thank you Miss Lottie this really means a lot to me I will make it up to you."
