- Kelly and her daughter were on their way home when a police man stopped them and told them that if they have weapons in their home, it's a crime. However, the 2nd allows people to bear and keep arms, therefore, it is legal.

- It's not a crime, it's actually a right for us to not let you in unless reasonable.
- It's the 4th Amendment.
- It's illegal to not let us in.
- There's been suspicious activity in the state, we are randomly selecting houses to search.
- Amanda, John, and their 6 year old daughter Katie were on their way out for dinner when they were stopped by two soldiers. They were randomly selecting houses to search and told them they were going to search their house. They refused because the 4th Amendment protects them from unreasonable search.

- Doesn't that seem a little harsh? He shouldn't have to pay that unusual amount of money for going 15 above the limit. The average charge is only around $100-200 max.
- You were charged with a speeding ticket of $2,700. You will need to submit this payment or pay time in jail.
- Your honor, the 8th Amendment protects from cruel or unusual punishments, therefore, the charge should be lowered.
- Oscar and his friends were on their way to the bowling alley and got pulled over by a cop on the freeway. The officer stated he was going 15 over the speed limit, and gave him a ticket with an unusually high charge. However the 8th Amendment can protect him from cruel and unusual punishments.
