- Bill Gates was born on Oct 28 1955, in Seattle, Washington D.C. He was born into a high income family as Bill's father William Henry Gates 1, was a lawyer, and his mom Mary Maxwell Gates was an American business woman.

- Bill had two sisters. He had one older sibling named Kristianne and a younger one named libby. Now Kristianne specializes in personal fitness planning and tax planning. Libby is now associated with a number of service organizations like schools and support groups.

- Since of bills financial status he was mostly going to private school before college.Later Bill was accepted into Harvard, and arrived there as a freshman in 1973. He went to Harvard to purse a lawyer path, to follow his fathers footsteps.

- Although life seemed to be great for Bill, he felt different. He felt like he had more passion in the software side rather than in the lawyer side. So Bill made the decision to drop out of Harvard, and purse a software pathway.
- Bills first job was a computer programmer for a company called Thompson Ramo Woolridge.He started in his senior year in high school when he was just the young age of 15 years old.
- After bill had left Harvard to pursue his passion of software engineering, he decided to build his own company known as Microsoft. On April 4th 1975 BIll and his childhood friend Paul Allen founded Microsoft, a company which makes computer software.
