- The Mexicans are bound to have a revolution quickly. !
- Austin asked the Mexican government if he could improve Texas a little more. They denied his request and Austin tried to send a letter to the Texans but the government got it instead.

- They did not like the letter, so they put Austin in jail for a year. When he was released he served house arrest for a few months.

- Austin came back to Texas, and gave a speech to the Texans telling them the problems facing the people of Texas.
