Storyboard-Text

  • This was my fountain pen, one of my most prized and valued possesions because it had a thick nib with which I can write neatly. We had an interesting life together.
  • I received it when I was 9 years old. I was laying in my bed with flu when it arrived from Aachen in a splendid red leather case.
  • When I was 10, I was allowed to take my pen to school, and even write with it! But when I was 11, we can only use school pen and inkpots.
  • When I was 13, it came with me to the Annex and together wrote a lot of compositions until its last year of life had arrived when I was 14.
  • This is Anne Frank, introducing her fountain pen and explaining why it was so special. She is telling it was higly valued by her because of its thick nib. She is about to explain all their story together.
  • I was about to write when I was forced to rub the beans to remove the mold and restore them. The pen was still in the table. Later, I tossed the rotten beans. A giant and surprising flame shot up.
  • Anne Frank is explaining how did her pen arrived and that she got it when she was at age 9. She tells that it came in a beautiful red leather case from Aachen.
  • I was going to continue what I was doing, but I didn't find my pen anywhere!
  • Anne Frank is telling some of her experiences with her pen. For example, when she was at school she was allowed to take her pen with her. When she was 13 she took the fountain pen with her to the Annex, and wrote lots of things.
  • My biggest fears were confirmed the next day when Father empty the stove and find the clip, used to fasten it to a pocket. There were no trace of the nib. But well, my pen was cremated just as I would like to be someday!
  • Anne Frank is telling the situation and events that occured before she lost her pen. The pen was there, until she turned on the stove. We will know the rest soon...
  • After what happened, Anne Frank couldn´t find her pen and as Margot, her sister, told her, one of the possibilities was that it had been burned along with the beans.
  • Maybe, it fell into the stove, along with the beans!
  • Unfortunately, Anne´s biggest nightmare became true. The pen melted without leaving a trace except for the clip. But at least it was cremated!
