- Tom soon come across the devil in the woods. He wasn't afraid of him at all.
- After Tom tells his wife about the deal with the devil she decides to go and make a deal with him. But instead she takes Toms things to trade with the devil. He goes looking for the things in the woods soon.
- Tom makes a deal with the devil to receive money.
- Tom soon becomes rich after making a deal with the devil. Tom starts to become rich from taking money from people. He soon starts going to church also.
- Tom soon nevered returned. Last time he was seen was when he was on a horse
