- Winter at Valley Forge
- On December 19th 1777 Washington took his troops to Valley forge
- The army was obviously in poor condition, many sick, cold, and starving.
- Sick
- Cold
- Hungry
- More then 2000 soldiers lost due to these diseases, but during February 1778 Prussian General Baron Fredrich Von Steuben joined the camp and helped train.
- Need help?
- An officer named Marquis de Lafayette also joined for freedom and helped supply them.
- This caused an alliance between the French and American
