- Patrick didn’t want to stall any longer so he cut to the chase without sugar coating anything and said that he wanted to divorce her. Mary was silent for way too long. Without a word Mary got up and said “I'm going to go and cook the frozen leg of the lamb.” Without waiting for a response she got up and went to the basement freezer.
- Mary was still in shock as she was searching for the lame leg. Once she found it she went back upstairs and she spotted Patrick looking outside of the window.
- Without thinking Mary walks towards Patrick as if her body had a mind of its own, she lifts the leg of lamb over her shoulder and swings it right at Patrick's head. Patrick's body stilled, and all the sudden Patrick Falls on his knees and then forward now he's on his belly and he still not moving. Mary Mary just shrugs her shoulders and continues on with her day.
- She goes for a 30 minute drive, then she proceeds to have a quick stop at the mall. Pretending as if she never just killed her husband. When she gets home she opens the door and sees Patrick standing right in front of her she freezes when she turns around and is shocked when she sees Sergeant Jack Noonan. Jake Proceeds to say “we saw the cameras you know,” he points around the house with his finger “after you hit Patrick with the frozen leg of lamb you thought you killed him, right?” Mary know she has nothing to lose since they already have video footage of her attempting murder, so she gives him a little nod. “Well, that was easy” Jack says “your under arrest for attempting murder” Mary grabbed the frozen leg of lamb from the floor And swung it at Jack.
- “Oh my God” he whispered “why are you bleeding,” he raises his voice “YOUR PREGNANT YOU CAN’T BE BLEEDING, WHY ARE YOU BLEEDING THEN” he repeated. Patrick took a shape, a shaky breath “ you killed it” he said calmly, he was any but calmed“you KILLED MY CHILD,” he raised his voice again. Without thinking he grabbed the gun from Jack's laying dead body and shot Mary dead.
- He grabbed the leg of lamb from the floor and went to the kitchen and proceeded to make dinner. And he was done. He was sitting on the table eating dinner but he wasn't eating alone. Patrick had picked up all the bodies from the floor and placed them around the dining table and proceeded to cut a piece off of the leg of the lamb.
