Water pollution is when a biiiiig amount of water gets dirty because of non-biodegradable trash, which means the trash doesn't go away natrually, and chemicals. (3)

Yep, sometimes companies dump their waste in lakes and rivers because they're too lazy to get rid of it the right way, which would be a lot safer. (3)

Chemicals are very dangerous! There was this one time in Massachusetts when two companies dumped their chemicals into the freshwater and many kids got very sick from it. (1)

You know, its not just people that are affected by water pollution, nearly a million ocean animals die from just plastic in the water each year. (1)
Animals dont just get trapped in the pollution and litter. Lots of sea cratures eat microplastic by accident, microplastics are teeny tiny bits of plastic floating around, they mistake it for food and get very ill. (2)
