- A new trial in 1456 was done on Joan of Arc. She was found not guilty of all her charges and declared a Martyr. She is seen as a political symbol in France and a symbol of the Catholic Church in opposition to the French government.
- A pro English Bishop sentenced Joan to death and she was burned to death at the stake in the marketplace at Rouen.

- The war caused many things within France. For example the French Parliament became weaker and the monarchy became stronger. It also caused a decline in feudalism, and just like England it became a Nation because people no longer thought of themselves as parisians they thought of themselves as French.
