- In the beginning, Linda was very nervous due to her lack of self-confidence. Linda was intimidated by the thoughts of speaking English to them.
- Scene 10
- Hey guys, last week I joined an event hosted by the English Club.
- In the event, Linda begins to warm up to others and she was able to converse with other students. Linda realizes that there were students struggling like her too.
- Scene 11
- No worries, Lucy! Hey there's this event if you're interested to join...
- Hey! Thanks for helping me earlier!
- After the event, Linda has renewed motivation to openly converse with others in English. She also regained her self-confidence and was very happy with her progress.
- Scene 12
- Today, we will be discussing about different philosophers from the 1900s. Please form into groups of three.
- Linda was able to enjoy her school-life, as she's able to converse with her classmates, friends and other students. She was glad that she met Sara who brought her to the event.
- Sounds fun!
- Oh that's nice! How did it go?
- When Linda encounters a student who has difficulty speaking, she now knows what to do. She would offer assistance and urge them to participate in the English Club's function.
- Linda learned that with English, she could join in discussions that helped her academically. She was also more open to asking questions regarding topics she didn't understand.
