- Her husband got an invitation to the evening reception at the ministerial mansion. Mathilde wasn't happy because she had nothing to wear.
- Here is your necklace.
- Her husband had money saved up to buy him a gun. He used his money and went to buy her a new dress and jewelry.
- Is that really you guys?!?!
- They got home and realized they lost the necklace. They were really worried and decided to replace the necklace with a very similar one.
- They went around asking people to borrow money and saved there money. When they had enough money they bought a new necklace.
- After they finally were able to pay off their debt after ten years they ran into Mme. Forestier. They find out the first necklace was a fake.
