- Father works to feed mothers addiction, tears family apart.
- Father works himself to death to make enough to survive. Mother overdoses over loss of father. Rage consumes him.
- His power is discovered and he is adopted into magic guild. Recognized as special he is trained as elite.
- His training complete, he is sent as an elite to cooperate in the war effort in defeating tragic bad guy.
- Many trials lead them to construct a pendant to harness the magic needed to close bad guy's portal to dead.
- Good guy sacrifices self to defeat bad guy and close portal to dead. Rest of living good guys return to tell his tale.
