- Exposition: Victor is starting 7th grade. He choses French to be with the girl he like Teresa. He will do anything to impress her. All michael cares about is scowling.

- Rising action: Victor stays longer in homebase to impress Teresa, When she says hi, Victor trys to act cool.

- Rising action: Victor can't stop thinking about Teresa. When he raises his hand, he talks about Teresa,
- Climax: Victor is looking for Teresa, He needs her. He can't focus on what Michael is saying. He tries to find Teresa and sees her under a tree.

- Where is Teresa at??
- Falling action: Victor wants to impress Teresa so he fakes he can speak french. The teacher lets him say it and not embarrass him

- Conclusion: Victor impresses Teresa. She asks if he can sometimes help her.. Victor agrees and goes to study french. He thinks it will be a good year.
