the cherokee war and the cherokee losing their land.
The english makes the cherokee sign a treaty. This treaty demands the cherokee doesn't trade with the french. The treaty also made peace between the colonies. When the cherokee signed the treaty it created thirty years of peace. During the timepan of peace the french and indian war comes up.
Some cherokee warriors took some of the settlers horses. This triggered the english settlers to attack and kill some of the indians. This also was what caused the french and indian to have a war. On the other hand, the british gaurenteed protection. The british didnt protect them when the french and cherokee attacked each other. So, the war begun and ended with a lot of indians dying.
The action of the cherokee and french keep targeting eachother leads to a war. This war is named the cherokee war. Once again the indians does not have good weapons, so they lose the fight. They fight over land and loses it. Now the french has control over the indians land, and the cherokee can't do nothing about it.
