My father and Jennifer have never had a perfect relationship. Seeing their conflicts make me feel like the sad little girl I was after her Mother and Father divorced before her father met Jennifer. I didn't understand why they couldn't just get along and be nice to each other. Even now that I'm older I don't understand. Reading my stepmother's diary, although it was unethical, helped me understand why they fight, why they divorced, and why they loved each other in the first place.

I'm still making peace with their divorce, but I'm glad they're separated, especially after seeing how they tear each other apart. I wish better lives and peace of mind for both of them, and don't at all blame them for this. It's for the better.
His daughter and her brilliance
He sat by my side while I was dying and has been with me through it all...
She continued to describe how my father had emotionally abused her, I put emotionally abused in quotations because I believe they emotionally abused each other, neither of them is the bad guy.
He gave me a wonderful container to create my art.
But...he deeply hurt me as well.
