- Father Hidalgo is a roman catholic priest. People in mexico called him the father of mexico. Sadly he did not live to see Mexico win its independence form Spain because he died in 1811
- James Long was the last filibuster ever. He lead Mexico to their independence. He died in 1822 (he lead mexico successful though)
- Father Hidalgo was the one who establish is revolt. Cry of Delores is fro the Mexican revolt against Spain for mexico freedom.
