As Mexican culture has progressed to become larger, its customs, cuisine, and religion have come together to create worldviews that are intended to be seen as traditional and community oriented.
“All are then invited into the home to pray and celebrate with song, dance, and food, as well as piñatas for the children”( "Mexico: Holidays").
It can also depict that the Mexican customs and traditions are very diverse and meaningful in the sense of feeling grateful in parts where they share meals as well as quality time with family and friends.
“Chocolate is an ancient ingredient, dating back to Aztec cuisine, where the bitter substance was mixed with sweeter substances such as vanilla (but not sugar), and drunk” (Dennis).
Many of the foods become part of our lives and who we are because it is what many of us grew up with. Although, even though many of the meals have been modified and mixed with new methods, they can still have cultural significance to the dish.
