- Food deserts can cause increased rates of obesity, diabetes, and heart disease

- Food deserts can also cause a lack of healthy fresh food

- A good diet can also lead to increased energy, a stronger immune system, and a reduced risk of chronic diseases

- My plan to get rid of these food deserts is to take old school buses that are no longer being used and can be transported to communities in need

- We would renovate these buses, turning them into portable grocery stores. This would benefit people who don't own vehicles and can save others money on gas.

- This would also increase peoples health as they would have easier access to healthy nutritious food and groceries instead of being limited to gas stations and fast food.
