- The person is being tested to see if he’s good or bad. There are Egyptian gods acting as judges to witness the test. If he fails, there is a creature that will eat his heart.

- He has done good deeds because the heart is lighter than the feather, so he passes the test and he will go to the afterlife.

- He is welcomed to the afterlife and his parents are waiting for their son to arrive.
