- The weird sisters, hand in hand,Posters of the sea and land,Thus do go about, about,Thrice to thine and thrice to mine,And thrice again to make up nine.Peace, the charm's wound up.
- The witches gather on the moor and cast a spell as Macbethh and Banquo arrive
- I'll see it done.
- King Duncan and Macbeth fight Macdonald who has been fighting really well, Duncan sentences the Thane of Cawdor to death for treason and announces that Macbeth will get his title instead
- No more that Thane of Cawdor shall deceive Our bosom interest. Go pronounce his present death, And with his former title, greet Macbeth
- A ghostly dagger floats in front of him and points the way to King Duncan's bedroom. Macbeth stabs Duncan. He comes back, covered in blood and still holding the murder weapons.https://www.bbc.co.uk/bbc.co.ukwhile Duncan sleeps, she will give his chamberlains wine to make them drunk, and then she and Macbeth can slip in and murder Duncan
- I go and it is done; the bell invites me. Hear it not, Duncan, for it is a knell That summons thee to heaven or to hell
- Help me hence, ho.
- Lady Macbeth suddenly faints, and both Macduff and Banquo call for someone to attend to her. Malcolm and Donalbain whisper to each other that they are not safe, since whoever killed their father will probably try to kill them next. Lady Macbeth is taken away, while Banquo and Macbeth rally the lords to meet and discuss the murder.
- The murderers attack Banquo and Fleance. Fleance manages to escape and Banquo shouts after him, 'Thou mayst revenge! ' and Banquo is killed. The murderers decide to return to the castle and tell Macbeth.
- O, treachery. Fly, good Fleance, fly, fly, fly – thou mayst revenge. O slave.
- Gentlemen, rise. His highness is not well.
- Thou can not say I did it. Never shake Thy gory locks at me.
- Macbeth finds out that Banquo has been murdered, but that his son has escaped. As Macbeth heads back to eat at his banquet table, he finds his seat has been taken by none other than the ghost of Banquo. He freaks out at the sight, and Lady Macbeth dismisses it as a momentary fit.
