- Walking Back
- Cecil Jacobs sneaks up on Jem and Scout on their way the school.
- The Fight
- Scout partakes in Ms. Merriweather's pageant and misses her que.
- The Outcome
- Jem and Scout begin their walk home and hear a sound that spooks them.
- The Death
- The strange sound turns out to be a person who attacks Jem and Scout.
- Jem is seriously hurt and the Sheriff and the Doctor are called. A man, who carried the unconscious Jem inside, stays in the corner. Heck Tate reveals that Mr. Ewell was the one who attacked the kids.
- Tate also reveals that Mr. Ewell has died due to stabbing wounds, but he doesn't know who killed him.
