After waking up from sleep, Baldo descended the ladder, bended down and reached for the black-spotted puppy.
My puppy! You are a foolish puppy!
As he was playing with his favorite puppy, his mother appeared and told him to get some coal.
Get two or three burning coals and bring them home.
I will not. Its not your banana.
After coming back to get some coal, Baldo got back to playing with his puppy but he suddenly spotted his brother Ambo eating a banana.
You are not eating it.
But the skin taste bad.
You foolish boy, remove the skin.
The situation stressed the puppy out which lead to the puppy to bite the palm of Ambo. This scene awaken their father, Tang Ciaco, who is fuming mad at what happened.
Ambo wanted to play with the black spotted puppy but Baldo refused. They argued and tugged out the puppy from each other.
Don't touch the dog! It has gone mad!
I told you not to play with the dogs! They have gone mad!
You are all the reason for this poor life that I live in!
Tang Ciaco got so mad and is out of right mind. He got a piece of firewood and swung it onto the puppy which lead to its death.
Enough father. Don't beat it anymore.
Baldo and Ambo found the dead dog among the tall corn. They have buried the dog , run back home, and face the morning again as the sun rises.
