- Martin's Family Trip
- Hello, my name is Amanda, I am Josh and Grace´s mom. I am a teacher. I am so excited for this vacations. This would be a new experience for me.
- Hi, I am Josh, I am 9 years old, I like to swim, play baseball and spend time with my dogs.
- In the Hotel
- Dad can Josh and I go to the pool after going to the room?
- Yes, you could go, but be careful.
- In the Pool
- HELP, HELP!
- MOM, DAD, COME HERE!
- This is Martin´s Family. The family is made up of: Amanda (mom), George (dad), Grace and Josh (children). They are going to a fancy hotel for their vacation in Colorado; everyone is very excited for all the fun they will have.
- The Rescue
- Are you OK?
- Yeah, thanks to you.
- Thank you so much.
- After 3 hours of flight the airplane arrive to the airport, and later, the family arrive to the hotel by bus. They have to wait to check in, then look for their room, accommodate everything and dress up to go out.
- Theme Park
- What are you waiting for, go to the Wheel of Fortune. But this time, be careful, really.
- Okay, mom, I promise I will be careful. Sorry for the accident in the pool, really.
- Yes, dad, I also will take care of him. Let´s go Josh!
- It´s okay Josh, just be careful, you two. Go, quickly, or will be a lot of people there.
- Grace and Josh, went to the pool. Grace told him to be careful. He slipped into the pool. After a few second he can get out, he doesn´t know how to swim, he was drowning.
- Moral
- After a few seconds a lifeguard came to help him and he take him out. Then, the parents listened the screams, and came out.He swallowed a lot of water. The lifeguard rescue him on time. After that, everyone got ready to go to a theme park that is outdoors of the hotel .
- The family went to the park. Afeter buying the tickets, they bought ice creams, won prizes in games, and the children went to all the apparatus. They had so much fun there and on the rest of the vacations.
- Children have to listen to their parents at every time, and obey them for our save, that is an advice that they told us to avoid the negative consecuences. In the short story, if Josh obey their mother instruction he would not have fallen into the pool and being in danger.
