Arachne was Greece's best weaver. She made beautiful linen cloths and her talent attracted many people and brought her both fame and recognition.
"Yes they are very beautiful I am sure my wife will love it I don't know what we would do without you."
"Look at how beautiful this linen scarf is no one can make them like I do and I mean no one!"
However despite having such a wonderful talent Arachne was not very modest about it.
"Aren't her scarfs so beautiful? I had to come and get one."
"They really are! She must have been gifted by the great Athena"
Athena?!!?
"THANKYOU ATHENA!!"
"Well I'm glad we cleared all the confusion up."
After hearing Arachne's false claims, Athena decided to confront her on her own and transformed herself into an old lady.
Will see about that Arachne
"Wow that's a beautiful scarf you must have been blessed by Athena with such skills. I must have one."
"As I have said before, my talent isall mine. If Athena was here she would say the same thing."
