- On April 12, 1861 at 4:30AM, the battle had begun with a cannon shot.
- We surrender

- This battle was at Ft. Sumter in Charleston Harbor, South Carolina.
- This battle was happening because the Union was not leaving the fort.
- The Confederacy won the Battle of Fort Sumter because the Union surrendered.
