Enkidu and Shamhat
Gilgamesh is a terrible and powerful king who was designed by the goddess Aruru , she made him two-thirds god and one-third man. He got his beauty by the sun Shamash and his courage by Adad the storm.
Enkidu and Gilgamesh's fight
Aruru created a man named Enkidu who had long and matted hair for the sake of the people in Uruk. He lives in the wilderness with the animals. A hunter and his son saw how he scared the animals away so son told his father that Enkidu is making it impossible for him to hunt. So the son went to ask Gilgamesh to lend him a prostitute.
They became friends
When the prostitute arrived she enticed Enkidu with her naked body and was talking to him about coming with her to Uruk. She convinced him and took him to Uruk.
Preparations for the journey to the Cedar Forest
When Enkidu arrived he stood in front of Gilgamesh's way not letting him take the bride. They both started to fight till Gilgamesh wrestled Enkidu to the ground.
Gilgamesh and Enkidu shook hands and became friends. Then Gilgamesh invited Enkidu to join him on a journey.
Gilgamesh started to fear because he doesn't know the road he is about to travel and the kind of battle he will fight. But the elders said to GilgameshEnkidu know the wild places. they also said, Let Enkidu be your guide. And Enkidu agreed.
