- WHAT ARE YOU DOING! YOU ARE USING TOO VICIOUS SPYING CAMPAIGNS AGAINST US!

- Nixon's Policy
- we need to declare peace, but the soviet's are not willing to cooperate with us...we must use force.
- agreed. they are taking this one too much far. they must be stopped.
- The Americans and Soviets were joined forces during the defeat of Hitler. The 2 allies had never met during the battle but after, they had both grown accustomed to each other and ended the war in Europe. Little did they know that being welcomed with open arms would end soon after.
- U.S preventing communism
- do not worry! The U.S will aid you! We will try our best to keep the civilians safe!
- we are going to be under attack! someone save us and our child!
- Both the U.S and Soviets have been fighting for quite some time, leading them to acquire spies; agents. The Soviets got rid of a U.S spy plane (Black Lady of the Espionage) and shot down the plane Powers was leading. Nikita was outraged with U.S's methods, accusing them of a vicious spying campaign against them, intensifying the battle.
- conclusion
- They should see and take account on how many innocent lives were taken! It's still unfair and not properly dealt with!!
- U.S President, Richard Nixon, and the help of his secretary of state, Henry Kissinger, created a policy made to encourage "global balance of power". Peace with the Soviet and China. China cooperated, but the Soviets were treated with (SALT) in May, 1792.
- my thoughts
- the soviets had what was coming. the U.S did what they could to do the right thing.
- To prevent communism, the U.S promoted their democracy and capitalism by negotiations, forging allies, military/economic aid, proxy wars etc. They were fearing that weak countries they were allied with can't defend themselves from Stalin. So the U.S helped them.
- The way the U.S and Soviets had used their powers in 'bad' ways worsened the war for them. Stalin chose to use his power for his own selfish reasons but the U.S wanted to stop him. The U.S then gained new allies with 16 different nations, creating NATO, and later defeating The Soviet.
- at least the U.S prevented communism and stopped the Soviet!
- I think that the U.S is justified. Yes, they're actions were harsh, but they did it to stop Stalin from taking over many countries. If he had taken over them and we never acted, who knows what would have happened to everyone. Better safe than sorry.
