  • Salmonella Food Poisoning is a rod-shaped bacteria that is acquired by eating foods that have been infected with animal feces.
  • The doctor begins to explain what Salmonella Food Poisoning is.
  • Salmonella can also affect plants and animals. Specifically, pets will experience the same symptoms humans do.
  • What can we do to ensure that we don't come across Salmonella Food Poisoning?
  • After 6 hours to even 6 days, some patients of mine have experienced abdominal or muscle pain. Others experience chills, dehydration, fever, fatigue, headache, or loss of appetite. The both of you experience diarrhea and fever
  • There are different ways to prevent food poisoning: Clean your hands before and after handling food. Do not mix different types of foods together. Cook food fully though and keep your refrigerator at 40 degrees or below.
  • This is all very helpful information. Is there any treatment or tests we can take in case we come across Salmonella Food Poisoning again?
  • For tests, doctor's will need to be provided with a stool sample or blood sample in order to test for Salmonella Food Poisoning. For medicine, I would recommend staying hydrated, drinking water or pedialyte. I could also recommend antibiotics, but unfortunately, it will have to pass through your system.
