- IDEA was put in place to better support all students and ultimately provide them with the support they need.
- What effects has this law had on students?
- IDEA effects students by allowing the free appropriate education and special education services
- This provides students with IEP's, early interventions, inclusion with same aged peers, and improved academic outcomes.

- 1. Prioritize the Least Restrictive Environment
- 2. Develop comprehensible IEP's
- 3. Have strong parent collaboration

- What are 3 recommended strategies used to help individuals advocate pertaining to IDEA?
- 1. Understand the law
- 2. Communicate effectively and often with parents and school personel
- 3. Reduce barriers to make everything more inclusive

- Find ways to reflect on your practice and what is valuable to you! It is also important to lead by example and find opportunities to implement character education into the curriculum!
- How can I incorporate personal character?

- Focus on demonstrating character traits, this will help everyone to understand and get on the same page!
- How can I ensure I am modeling virtuous actions that promote human flourishing?
- Also, promote community engagement and positive relationships with members in the school and community!
