- Mrs Johnstone is in Mrs Lyons home, cleaning for her then Mrs Lyons asks her to give her one of her new borns Quote: ""surely its better you give a child to me"
- Mrs Johnstone was manipulated and gullible, she gave the child away since Mrs Lyons promised him a better life. Mrs Lyons was infuriated since Mrs Johnstone interacted with Edward too much when she came to clean so she fired her. Quote: "your work has detirorated"
- Edward and Mickey meet up for the first time at the age of 7, they later become blood brothersQuote: "do you wanna be my blood brother, Eddie?"
- The parents of both Edward and Mickey, find out they are hanging out with each other, Mrs Lyons is afraid he is hanging out with the wrong people Quote: "I told you to never go to where that boy lives"
- Edward and Mickey are now friends with Linda, they cause trouble and get confronted by the police. Mrs Lyons plans to move out, Edward goes to Mrs Johnstone, she gives him a locket to remember mickeyQuote: "Just a secret between you n me"
