- the proclamation of 1763 made an imaginary boarder across the appalachan mountains colonists ignored it to keep peace
- townshend act
- this was law because colonists were smuggling sugar into the colonies and they had to have a stamp on them to show that they paid their taxes and people who had smuggled sugar into the colonies would go to trial
- Boston massacre

- this was a boycott to show the British they didn't want ot pay taxes people were so mad about the taxes that they would even 'tar and feather tax collectors. and they would yell the saying "no taxation without representation".

- 1767 a new set of taxes were passed on glass, paper, other goods, and tea. these acts cut down on smuggling,giving customs officials the ability to search anywhere .

- March 5, 1770 a group of rowdy Bostonians started shouting at British soldiers, eventually throwing rocks and ice at the soldiers who panicked and fired into the crowd unfortunately killing 5 others and Crispus Attucks.

- December 16,1773 in Boston Harbor angry colonists dressed as Native Americans in the night. They would board three ships holding tea, they would dump 342 chests of tea into the harbor.
