- Families as big as 6 people had to share one room due to the fact that the pay wages were extremely low.
- People had to get up at around 5 in the morning and get to their work. They cam back home at around 7 in the afternoon. This is 14 hours of hard and tiring work.
- I wish that we could go to school. Working is so hard and long.
- What can we do? We need money to eat.
- hurry up and get to work!
- The population during the industrial revolution increased which led to urbanisation.
- These conditions are terrible. I can barely breathe!
- I know! We need higher wages.
- I know! I can barely feed my family.
- Look at this! We changed this plain land into these beautiful buildings, yet we still do not have an increase in the pay wages.
