When will's hand had ink Mibs was hearing will's secrets being told. But she did not want to. In chapter 12 page 105 it states " I didn't want to know Will's secret".

Mibs dad had a car accident. A then had to go to Salina Hope Hospital. Chapter 1, page 10 states " himself in a room and a bed at Salina Hope Hospital".
After Mibs knew where her dad is she wanted to help him. But she does not know how to get there. Chapter 7, page 61 it states " I have to get out of here".
I bet that bus came from Salina and it is going to get me there.
For Will to wash off the ink Fish spit on his hand. which then washed off the ink. Chapter 12, page 108, states "Fish worked his mouth for one long second, then a spat a big, thick wad of juicy spit into Will Junio's hand".
This is after Mibs comes to Salina Hope Hospital. And she tells her dad to not give up. Chapter 36, page 331 states " Don't give up poppa, don't give up".
Soon Mibs a bus and she knew it came from Salina . So it will go back to Salina and that is her ticket there. Chapter 8, page 64 states " The bus caught my eye".
