My daughter is very sick, she has had a high fever for days she hasnt been able to break

The mother and daughter approach the front desk quickly, the daughter keeps her head down and drags her feet as she walks.

Alright, so tell me a little bit about whats going on?
She has had a fever of 103 for 24 hours, I can barely get her to eat and she doesnt sleep for more then an hour at a time
Oh I´m so sorry Ill go let the doctor know and she´ll be in, in a few minutes to run some tests.
The pale faced little girl sits quietly on the bed, as the mother and nurse discuss her sickness. Her mom puts her arm around her.

Well good news and bad news. Good news it doesn´t look like she has anything serious, bad news, she did test positive for the flu . I will prescripe her some anti biotics thatĺl take the fever down and you can pick them up later.
The doctor comes in and takes a swab of the girls saliva in order to do the tests, he returns a few minutes later with the results
