I chose this quote to demonstrate logos because an ordinance is required for peaceful public protest, so it makes sense why he was arrested. It also is logical, because the first amendment does state the right to assembly or protest.
I chose this quote for ethos because it directly states how credible Martin Luther King really is. The quote shows how his experiences as the president of the Southern Christianity Leadership Conference boost his credibility with in his argument.
