- Growing up, my parents taught me that one of the best ways to show love for others is through respect. They often shared that God is pleased when we treat others with kindness and consideration. Simple gestures like saying "mano po" and greeting my elders were ways I could show my love and respect. Because of this upbringing, I’ve learned to value respect and compassion, and it has shaped me into someone who strives to treat others with kindness, just as my parents instilled in me.

- As a HUMSS student in a Catholic school, I feel a strong sense of purpose to be actively involved in my community as a catalyst for change. In our studies, we are taught to prioritize the needs of the marginalized—the last, the lost, and the least—reflecting the values of compassion and equality that Jesus teaches. Just as Jesus calls us to love our neighbors without judgment or favoritism, we are reminded to extend love equally to all, embracing everyone with the same unconditional love He shows us. This is the foundation of our mission as HUMSS students: to embody and spread love and justice in the world around us.

- As a student leader, I am deeply rooted in love and volunteerism. The willingness of Jesus to serve others and make sacrifices is the foundation of my leadership. Through my experiences, I’ve learned that true leadership is about dedicating both my heart and my time to serve the community. I’ve come to understand that when it comes to charity, no act is too small or too big—what truly matters is the sincerity of the kindness you offer. By following Jesus' example of selfless service and helping those in need, we create a ripple effect of love that can spread far and wide.
