- sedimentary rocks can be found in riverbeds or ponds, these rocks are formed when sediment is deposited out of air
- sedimentary rocks can be classified on how they form and the size of the sediments. these sedimentary rocks can also be transformed just like igneous rocks, when exposed to heat and pressure they will transform
