- Two households, both alike in dignity, In fair Verona, where we lay our scene, From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean
- what,art thou drawn among these heartless hinds?
- SAMPSON: I do bite my thumb,sir 
- ABRAM: Do you bite your thumb at us, sir? 
- Benvolio: 
- there are two families, The Capulet and the Montague.
- Thou shalt not stir one foot to seek a foe. 
- Thou villain Capulet! hold me not. Let me go.
- Do not disturb the peace or else you shall be sentenced to death. 
- What noise is this? Give me my long sword, HO!
- A crutch, a crutch! why call you for a sword ?
- O, where is Romeo? Saw you him today? 
- I saw Romeo sulking around near the west end of the city 
- See,where he comes. So please you, step aside. I'll know his grievance or be much denied. 
- Is the day so young?
- Romeo says that he's been depressed lately because he has been having some love problems. Later on, a Capulet servant asked Romeo if he could read a list of guests for a party that was held at the Capulet's house. Romeo and Benvolio decided to go to the party with Mercutio since Romeo was heartbroken by Rosaline.
- Romeo, Benvolio, and Mercutio are going to the Capulet's party. At this point, Mercutio starts to make sexual things in his speech, which comes out in a witty and talkative manner. When Romeo says that he had dreams which suggested that going to the party was a bad idea. Mercutio says that he had dreams and he started to talk about Queen Mob. 
- But 'tis no wit to go. I dreamt a dream tonight. 
- that dreamers often lie. 
- I will withdraw, but this intrusion shall now seem sweet, convert to bitterest gall.
- Content thee, gentle coz, Let him alone. He bears him like a portly gentleman.
- At the dinner party Romeo sets his eyes on to a girl that leaves him breathless.
- did my heart love till now? Forswear it, sight.
- Neither Romeo nor Juliet knows of each other identity, but Romeo moves forward to take her by the hand. 
- If I profane with my unworthiest hand this holy shrine, gentle sin is this: my lips, two blushing pilgrims, ready stand. 
- The nurse tells Juliet that her mother is looking for her, At this moment Romeo finds out that Juliet is the daugther of the Capulets. Romeo and the other Montague leave the party. Juliet also finds out that Romeo is a Montague. 
- Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hands too much, which mannerly devotion shows in this: For saints have hands that pilgrims' hand do touch 
- Nurse: Madam,your mother craves a word with you.
