Who's signing up for the Jeju island field trip? ╰(*°▽°*)╯
Long ago in Danwon High School. The junior class were going to a field trip to Jeju island. About 300 students signed up for the field trip and the rest were teachers and staff. On APril 16,2014 the students started settiling in the ship.
At around 8:50 am, the ship started to tilt. everyone in the ship was notifiy to stay in place nad put there safety jackets on.
Lots of students were paniking and saying "I doon't want to die". Other students were texting theere loves ones. One student aactually texted there mother saying "Mom. I miight not be able to tell you this in person. I love you". Most of the students knew that they were not going to m,ake it alive
The ship started sinking because of the overload and speed the ship was going. the yellow ribbons represents hopes of retuirn of the passengers.
After many hours, the police was only able to save 75 people out of 475 people boarding the ship. Yoo Byung-eun (the ship operator) shortly went missing after this inceident. Soon in June 2014, Yoo Byung-eun body was found.
Lots of families were sad about there child passing. On April 26, 2014, Danwon Higb School opened back after the big incident. Only 75 survibing juniors were attending school, while the rest were dead. Lots of gifts and yellow ribbons were found on the students desk. Hoping the families and students a well recovering of this sad day.
