- Oh cool, where does the carbon all go?
- Um excuse me... what's the carbon cycle?
- It's the traveling of carbon from the atmosphere into organisms then back into the atmosphere.
- Well it goes many places. It starts here in the atmosphere then it goes to plants.

- You can find carbon in animals next.
- Well, I take carbon right out of the air during photosynthesis.
- Ok! Wait a minute...I'm an animal
- Atmosphere to Plants
- So how does Carbon get from the atmosphere to you plants?
- So how does carbon get from plants to animals?
- Well that was intense
- Carbon goes to the atmosphere next.
- And I get carbon by eating tasty little rabbits.
- Plants to animals
- It's pretty simple, I get carbon by eating plants.
- AHHH!!
- Hi again! I was told carbon traveled back to the atmosphere from animals.
- Hmm... Where should I go next?
- Yep, that's correct. Animals put carbon back into the atmosphere in the process of respiration or breathing.

- UGH....He's back
- Um, what was that?
- What?? How did carbon go from plants and animals to sediments?
- What the heck Johnny, get me out of here!!

- Carbon transfers into the ground when they die.
