- In 2022, Saliksik began a humanities research project entitled “A Socio-Linguistic Study on the Decline and Preservation of Local Languages” documenting vanishing local languages and stories. It wasn’t flashy, but it gave a voice to the unheard.

- It is now 2035, yet my 2022 study on preserving local indigenous languages still lives on as it had inspired me to create this annual research symposium entitled “Research for National Identity and Cultural Empowerment”
- Now in its 13th year. The research symposium specifically showcases research in the humanities, ranging from history, literature, philosophy, linguistics and even cultural studies.
