- Exposition:Harry, Cora, Dan, Laura, and David Bittering land on mars in a rocketMr. Bittering wants to go back to earth.
- Rising Action:Laura tells everyone all space rockets on earth are blown up, so the Bitterings cannot return to earth.
- Climax:Harry discovers that the plants and animals are mutating. The cow was growing a third horn. The vegetables were shaped and colored wrong.
- Falling Action:All of the Bittering Family and others on Mars start to turn into Martians, just like Harry warned everyone.
- Resolution:People come back to Mars from earth, but everyone is gone and turned into Martians.
